Rechargeable NI-MH Battery for Roomba 500 Series
Specifications:
The battery type is Ni-MH, with a voltage of 14.4V and a capacity of 4400mAh. The battery is brand new and compatible with the following iRobot Roomba models:
- R3 500, 600, 700, and 800 Series
- Roomba 500 Series: 510, 521, 527, 530, 531, 532, 533, 535, 536, 540, 541, 545, 550, 551, 552, 560, 561, 562, 570, 580, 581, 582, 585, 595, 599
- Roomba 600 Series: 610, 618, 620, 630, 631, 635, 650, 655, 660
- Roomba 700 Series: 760, 761, 770, 775, 780, 790
- Roomba 800 Series: 866, 870, 871, 880
The battery is not compatible with Roomba 690 or 890 robots.
The battery is 100% new from the manufacturer and can be recharged up to 500 times over its lifetime. The actual operation time will depend on the power consumption of the device and how it is used.
For first use, it is recommended to discharge the battery to 5% (not 0%) and then charge it to 95%, and repeat this cycle 3-4 times.
The battery is equipped with a built-in protection circuit board to safeguard your device from short circuits, over-temperature, over-discharge, over-voltage, and over-current.
When installing the new battery, follow these steps: 1. Power off your robot. 2. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the bottom side brush. 3. Then unscrew the screws on the bottom lid. 4. Pull out the old battery and insert the new battery. 5. Use a screwdriver to screw the bottom lid and the side brush back.
Important notes: 1. Fully recharge the battery before first use. 2. Do not connect the adapter for a long time while using the battery, as it may damage the battery. 3. Avoid artificial shocks, disassembly, crushing, or puncturing the battery. Do not dispose of it in fire or water. 4. Avoid using the battery in environments with extremely high or low temperatures. 5. If your device cannot be powered on with the new battery, try reinstalling it and check if it has been properly connected.
