How to Know When to Replace the Battery: 1. The working time of a fully charged battery is less than 45 minutes. 2. The battery turns green after charging for about 30 minutes. 3. The iRobot prompts you to charge the Roomba, and it cannot return to the base properly.
Installation Instructions: 1. Turn the Roomba upside down with the wheels facing up and the dustbin farthest from you. 2. Ensure the dustbin is empty, then place the Roomba upside down on a flat surface. 3. Insert the battery into the battery compartment using your fingers. 4. The battery will click into place when properly seated.
Note: If the battery is not used for an extended period, please recharge it every three months to prolong its lifetime.
Battery Performance Considerations: 1. The battery can generally work for 2-3 hours on a full charge, but the Roomba typically returns to the base after about 60 minutes of use. 2. On the iRobot panel, "err5" indicates a battery problem, while "err7" is not entirely a battery issue. 3. Other errors can be resolved by referring to the secondary chart.
